Moving into October 2009 after a whirlwind September the Mehron Team began planning for Rock Fashion Week. Mehron was the exclusive Makeup sponsor for the cutting edge Fashion Show held in Miami Beach from October 14-17, 2009. Rock Fashion Week is a multi media innovative presentation of the Collections of Fashion Designers on the leading edge of fashion. Besides being the exclusive Makeup Sponsor of Rock Fashion Week, Mehron Makeup Artists used a variety of Mehron Makeup Products to enhance the Fashion Collections of Pink Dress Collection which included a cameo pink dress modeling appearance by Dennis Rodman, ARGYLECULTURE Fashion Collection by Russell Simmons, the KRELwear Presentation, the designs of biatta intimates, and a special body painting and face painting that accompanied Bullets 4 Peace Presentation.
The Mehron Makeup Artists Teams selected the Mehron Makeup that best suited the presentation of each designer. With an unsurpassed selection of Fashion Makeup, Body Painting Makeup and Face Painting Makeup, the Mehron Makeup Artists had all the choices they needed to complement each collection precisely. Makeup Artist Georgette Pressler and Makeup Artist John Neyrot led the Face and Body Painting effort that highlighted the Bullets 4 Peace Presentation. Makeup Artist Megan Hill led the Team of Mehron Makeup Artists in executing the Fashion makeup and Beauty Makeup for Rock Fashion Week. The four day events of Rock Fashion Week allowed Mehron Makeup to show the world of Fashion that the Leaders in Theatrical makeup since 1927 has the right stuff for the world of Beauty and Fashion. Mehron has easily transformed the professional quality Theatrical Makeup that has made them the first name in Makeup into high quality, durable, silky smooth, gentle Makeup with all the dynamically vivid colors for the world of Beauty and Fashion.
The month didn't end with Rock Fashion Week, in between shipping tons of Halloween Makeup throughout the world through a Network of Authorized Mehron Dealers, Mehron continued their commitment to donate a portion of the sales price of selected Pink Makeup to Breast Cancer Awareness and Research Projects through the Mehron Thinks Pink Campaign. While all that was going on, Mehron was gathering up specially designed Mehron Advertising Posters that were featured on the ABC Network Drama, Castle and planning for a special themed Halloween Weekend at 24 Prince, a Soho Bistro in Manhattan, New York. Halloween Week had Mehron Makeup Artists and Marketing Director Stephanie Ferreira featured on the Morning News at the flagship station of the CW Network, PIX 11 in New York City, where they transformed the features report Lisa Mateo into a Zombie with the Complete Zombie Makeup Kit by Mehron. While Lisa Mateo was being transformed into a Zombie, the Mehron Makeup Team was using Mehron Beauty Makeup to give Chef Niki of 24 Prince Restaurant the Elizabeth Taylor look.
The Autumn of 2009 was an adventurous time during a Mehron Year that saw the introduction to the public of a variety of new Makeup Products across all the speciality collections that Mehron offers including the exciting new naturally based air brush makeup, LUX Airbrush Makeup and the Beauty Bronzing Gel Aura Bronzing Gel.
