Australia 2009 IMATS in Two Weeks

September 12 - 13, 2009 at the Sydney Convention Centre, Darling Habour, Sydney, Australia the 2009 International Makeup Artist Trade Show (IMATS) will be held in living color. Makeup Artists and all those interested in the world of makeup will be flocking to the Habour to view the latest in the world of Makeup. The IMATS 2009 in Sydney features seminars, keynote addresses, and an Exhibitors Hall where Mehron is proud to occupy booth # 39 for their first all out exhibit at the Australian 2009 IMATS.

A featured Keynote Speaker for the Syndney 2009 IMATS will be, Make-up Artist Lisa Garner, a native of Australia who will be heading home from New York, where she is a well established Makeup Artist where her work is exhibited by celebrities. Ms. Garner has also contributed to numerous make up publications and appeared on television shows concerning makeup.

Howard Berger is also scheduled to appear as a Keynote Speaker during the 2009 IMATS. Mr. Berger's expertise in Makeup is well renowned throughout the film industry, however, one accomplishment can not help but stand out in his Make Up career. Mr. Berger won the the British Academy Award for Best Makeup, and an Oscar for Achievement in Makeup for his work on the film, The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe. Mr. Berger led a team of over one hundred and sixty Makeup Artists from every speciality to recreate the characters of Narnia.

Also speaking at the 2009 IMATS will be Gino Acevedo, whose film credits include: Point Break, Alien 3, Death Becomes Her, Demolition Man, Wolf, Men in Black, The Nutty Professor, Species, Independence Day, Godzilla, The Water Horse and 30 Days of Night. Mr. Acevedo just completed working on the James Cameron film, Avatar, touted as the film that will revolutionize the film industry in the same way that color television programing changed the television industry.

Along with this line up of Keynote Speakers the 2009 Syndey IMATS presents featured speakers and a hand on Exhibition Hall, where the Make Up products of the future are presented to the Make Up Artists of the present. LUX Airbrush Makeup, the 2009 revolutionary, naturally based Air Brush Makeup will be making its Austrailian Debut at the Mehron Booth #39 in the Exhibition Hall along with other 2009 new product introductions by Mehron. The newest addition to the Mehron Makeup Collections that will be making their 2009 Australian Debut at the IMATS of Syndey include, Aura Bronzing Gel , CHEEK Cream , E.Y.E Powder and New!
