For the last two years, Mehron has participated in the Tunnel to Towers Run that commentates the Firefighters who perished on September 11, 2001. This event retraces the route that Firefighter Stephen Siller took in his efforts to save lives at the World Trade Center Inferno. This years event will be larger than ever with the run being held on September 11, 2010 followed by a concert by Montgomery Gentry at the finish line. Fund raising for this event will run from September 15, 2010 through October 5, 2010 at charitybuzz.org, where donors can bid on a evening with Dennis Miller with all funds being donated to the Tunnel to Towers Organization. 2010 will be the 9th Annual Tunnel to Towers Run, from the Mehron Blog Archives, tonight we present the Mehron Blog from September 10, 2009 in a Blog entitled:

On 9/11/01 Stephen Siller was an off duty New York City Firefighter on his way to a day off with his brothers. Hearing the call of duty, Firefighter Siller ran from the Brooklyn Battery Tunnel to the World Trade Center Site to assist his the on duty Firefighters in their Herculean effort to save the victims of a devastating attack. Stephen was last seen at the site of the World Trade Center as were so many of the First Responders who answered the call of 9/11/01.
8th Annual Tunnel to Towers Run

The Tunnel to Tower has grown exponentially over the last seven years donating to a host of charities to commemorate the Memory of Son, Brother, Husband, Father and Firefighter Stephen Siller. Those not able to travel to Brooklyn, NY for the race, may still participate in the final goal of the race, donating money to The Stephen Siller "Let Us Do Good" Children's Foundation.
The Tunnel to Tower 5K Race/Walk ends with a day of festivities that include Children's activities. Mehron endorses and supports the work of the The Stephen Siller "Let Us Do Good" Children's Foundation. Under the Leadership of Shelli Farber, Product Sales and Education Manager of Mehron, a Team of Volunteer Face Painters offer face painting to the children using the safe Mehron's Face Painting Makeup, made in the USA and donated to this extraordinary Foundation that commemorates the Memory of Stephen Siller, a young Father, who ran towards the danger on 9/11/01.
