Ready for a New Decade of Makeup

Mehron is ready to usher in their ninth decade of Makeup innovation. As with every decade from 1930 till now, Mehron will continue to research and develop Makeup for every occasion. In 2010 this means developing and formulating colors and applications that will meet the demands of a full range of Makeup Disciplines. In 2010 Mehron will continue to master the needs of the Theatrical Performance Community which includes, live performances, high definition film, television and video, all of which will require a makeup that will not wither in under the scrutiny of production technologies of the future.

Looking to the future with a firm foundation established in 1927, Mehron will meet the new decade with innovations in quality professional Makeup for Clowns, Body Painters, Face Painters, Theatrical Performers, Special Effects, Fashion, Glamor, and Halloween Makeup. The new decade will bring challenges in every aspect of Makeup use, Mehron is ready to meet and exceed these challenges just as it has done in the previous eight decades.

Mehron ended the last decade with premiers in the Fashion Makeup World, an introduction of a green tea based Air Brush Makeup, sponsorship of worthy causes and an up and coming band, Black Veil Brides. Press coverage was received by Mehron in a long list of trade publications and popular publications, including Make-Up Magazine and People Style.

The new decade promises to be the decade when Face Painting and Body Painting explodes into the mainstream with talented artists continually exploring the boundaries of Body Art and Face Art with Makeup. The release of Avatar in the final weeks of the last decade holds the promise of new concepts in Makeup for film and theatrical productions with Makeup Applications that can meet the needs of three dimensional presentations. Technological advances in lighting both on stages and in studio will present challenges. Just as Mehron introduced LUX Airbrush Makeup to meet the demands of full body makeup coverage for Body Painting, Face Painting and Studio and Stage Makeup, it will introduce the future of Makeup throughout the new decade.
