It is the skill of these Professional Makeup Artist Specilaists that turn drawings in to lifelike creatures using their talents, imagination and Special Effects Makeup. Having witnessed the birth and growth of this craft from 1927 through today, Mehron Makeup has a special appreciation for the work that these Makeup Artists perform day in and day out on the sets of Theatrical Productions and congratulates them all for the special recognition that their Emmy Award Nominations bestows upon them. It is the calls from Makeup Artists like those nominated that Mehron Makeup Researchers answer with formulations of new products and colors to meet their needs. When Shrek, The Musical, was about to open on Broadway, it was the Mehron Studio and Stage Makeup Department that developed Shrek Green for everyone's favorite Ogre.
