Carolyn Roper is a two time world champion at the World Bodypainting Festival, the largest and most recognized Body Painting Competition in the world. Carolyn is the only Body Painting Artist to win the Championship twice in the entire history of the World Bodypainting Festival (WBF). Although a two time World Champion in the Art of Body Painting, it is not the only Makeup Artistry that Carolyn pursues. She is an all around Professional Makeup Artist and the founder of Getmadeup.com. Ms. Roper's work includes Beauty Makeup, Fashion Makeup, Television and Magazine assignments and teaching Master Classes in both Make-Up and Body Painting.
Based in the United Kingdom, Carolyn travels the world and often joins the team of Mehron Makeup Artists at Makeup Events demonstrating her Makeup Applications with Mehron Makeup. As a Mehron Sponsored Artist in 2009, Ms. Roper was awarded the World Bodypainting Championship in the Special Effects Category at the 2009 WBF.
In 2010, Carolyn Roper attended the WBF as an invited artist to participate in the World Bodypainting Fashion Department Show held on Saturday Night July 17th, 2010 entitled, "Create Your Own Reality". The "Reality" that Ms. Roper decided to create using Mehron Makeup from across all the Mehron Makeup Collections was "Fantasy Brides" representing cultures from around the world. The Mehron Blog has the honor of sharing the photos of the "Reality" that Ms. Roper created for the Fashion Show presentation of the WBF Fashion Department.
