For the second time in six months, Mehron Makeup will join forces with Athens Fashion Designers Vassilios Kostetsos at the New York City Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week. In September 2009 Mehron Makeup Artists applied a Fashion Makeup Look to the models who were presenting the Kostetsos Collection to the fashion World at the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week. Under the direction and vision of Freelance Makeup Artist Raedawn Johnson a Team of Makeup Artist turned the models wearing the Vassilios Kostetsos Fashion Collection into the likeness of Greek Goddesses and Gods. Using Aura Bronzing Gel by Mehron as a highlighter, the Mehron Makeup Team took their cue from Ms. Johnson, who uses Aura Bronzing Gel on all skin tones to add a naturally appealing glow to any Makeup application.
Ms. Johnson used Aura Bronzing Gel along with Mehron Foundation Makeup for an even facial canvas on which to apply the highlighting Mehron Fashion Makeup to eyes, cheeks and lips. Using a combination of Mehron Makeup, Ms. Johnson achieve a uniform glow on all the models representing the Kostetsos Fashion Designs, yet allowed for an individual look for each model. Although there was a soothing glow emanating from the models of the Kostesos Collection, each model had a distinctive individual look accomplished by the use of enhancing Beauty Makeup by the Mehron Team of Makeup Artists.
For February 2010 the Mehron Makeup Team will again be sponsoring the presentation of the Vassilios Collection at the final Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week to be held in Bryant Park, New York City. At this historic finale of the end of an Era in Bryant Park, Mehron Makeup will be present to say farewell to another New York Cultural venue, as Fashion Week will move to Lincoln Center for future events. With a reception that was covered by Make-Up Magazine in September 2009, Mehron made a hit debut at New York Fashion Week. Now participating in the final Fashion Week in Bryant Park, Mehron Makeup continues with its over eight decade ties to New York City. Over eighty years ago only blocks away from Bryant Park, Mehron Makeup was created by hand by the Founder, Mehron Melik. Now in 2010, Mehron Makeup continues to solidify its ties to the City of Theater, The City of Fashion, The City of Music, The City of Film Production, Soap Opera Productions, Music Video Productions and the Cultural Center of the American Arts, New York City, the birthplace of Mehron Makeup.
