The 1927-1928 Broadway Season saw a record setting 264 Shows open, a record that still stands 82 years later. Theater goers attending Broadway Shows during the 1927-1928 Season could chose from, A Connecticut Yankee, based on Mark Twain's, A Connecticut Yankee in King Aurthur's Court, Henrik Ibsen's, An Enemy of the People, William Shakespeare's, Much Ado About Nothing, or Ziegfeld Follies of 1927 based on the writings of Eddie Cantor with the Musical Composition and Lyrics by an up and coming Irving Berlin, along with an astounding 260 other plays that opened during that Broadway Season.

Working with many of the actors and actresses appearing on the stages of New York City in 1927, Mehron Melik was perfecting the art of Theatrical Makeup.
